Como mencionábamos anteriormente en otro posteo Wasting light, su séptimo disco de estudio, salió hace unas semanas y es todo un éxito. A mi parecer con todo lo escuchado hasta ahora es el "álbum del año". Trabajos que se esperan que sean lanzados en los próximos meses como en el caso de U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction, Queens of the Stone Age, Coldplay o Muse, pueden ser los únicos en desbancar a Grohl y compañía del cetro al primer lugar.
Medium rare, el álbum de covers que se editó para el Record Store Day, también fue subido en su momento en este blog. Mientras se espera que vengan a nuestro país luego del intento fallido de 2006 junto con The Who, el baterista Taylor Hawkins le pone alas a una futura visita: "Estuvimos hablando acerca de ir a América latina para mostrar este disco, tal vez a comienzos de 2012. Créanme, insisto mucho en ir para allá", exclamó en una reciente nota.
La idea de este post era subir los discos que faltaban de esta gran banda. En total son diez discos oficiales (siete de estudio, uno en vivo, otro de grandes éxitos y uno más de covers). Espero que los disfruten porque la verdad vale la pena y no es ninguna exageración.
